Proposal - Mountaineering

What do you want to do?

An expedition to the Stok Kangri peak near Leh in Ladakh (6200m in altitude)

Why do you want to do it?

The dream of my life is to reach the summit of Mount Everest someday. Stok Kangri is the first step towards my dream. It is considered as an ideal first 6000m peak for an amateur mountaineer.

How will you do it?

There are organizations which organize commercial expeditions to Stok Kangri. (A commercial team is one where an organization charges you a certain amount of fee and then arranges all the equipments, guides, porter yaks and everything needed) However, I prefer to travel to Leh and arrange for the tent, other equipments, yaks, and a guide on my own.
